Born in 1974, Sonsational was sired by Sonny Dee Bar and out of Toledo Kristy. As a yearling and two year old he showed amazing ability in the show ring and would continue to dominate throughout his career. Sonsational was National Champion Halter, Superior Halter, and an APHA Champion.
As a stud, he was a leading sire in the APHA, responsible for siring horses that would become Multiple World Champtions, Superior Western Pleasure winners, APHA Champions, Superior Halter winners, as well as Superior Hunter Under Saddle and Trail.
He was known for his pretty hip, beautiful head, and a rich cherry colored coat that was gorgeous upclose and from afar. He was also famous for a superior disposition that carried into his babies.
That disposition continues to be the pride of our bloodlines.
